Make Your Own Delicious Biscuits

Salted Buttermilk Biscuits
The Classic
PreHeat Oven to 400 degrees
2 cups of Brooklyn Biscuit Co. Biscuit Mix
1 large egg
1/4-1/2 cup of buttermilk or milk substitute with 1 tsp lemon juice added
Dash of Sea Salt

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until pulled together to a dough. If it's too dry and crumbly add a dash of liquid. If it's too wet add a dash of flour.
Dump dough out on a floured surface and pat out to approx. an 1 1/2 thick. Using your biscuit cutter (or a soup can) cut out as many biscuits as you can. Take the excess dough and re-form to continue to make more biscuits.
Place cut biscuits on a cookie sheet lined with parchment and brush with milk, or an egg mixed. with a splash of water. Sprinkle a bit of sea salt on top.
Bake for 14 minutes until. golden brown. Enjoy with butter, jam and big cup of Joe!

Goat Cheese & Black Pepper
a NY Times Favorite
PreHeat Oven to 400 degrees
2 cups of Brooklyn Biscuit Co. Biscuit Mix
1 large egg
1/4-1/2 cup of buttermilk or milk substitute with 1 tsp lemon juice added
1 teaspoon of course ground black pepper
1/2 cup goat cheese (depending on your taste you can go mild or tangy)
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until pulled together to a dough. If it's too dry and crumbly add a dash of liquid. If it's too wet add a dash of flour.
Dump dough out on a floured surface and pat out to approx. an 1 1/2 thick. Using your biscuit cutter (or a soup can) cut out as many biscuits as you can. Take the excess dough and re-form to continue to make more biscuits.

Tart Lemon & Fresh Blueberry
Everyone's Favorite!

1 large egg
1/4 - 1/2 cup of buttermilk or milk substitute with 1 tsp lemon juice added
1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon lemon extract or oil
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon rind
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until pulled together to a dough. If it's too dry and crumbly add a dash of liquid. If it's too wet add a dash of flour.
Dump dough out on a floured surface and pat out to approx. an 1 1/2 thick. Using your biscuit cutter (or a soup can) cut out as many biscuits as you can. Take the excess dough and re-form to continue to make more biscuits.

"Everything" Biscuit
When Bagels Just Won't Do
PreHeat Oven to 400 degrees
2 cups of Brooklyn Biscuit Co. Biscuit Mix
1 large egg
1/4-1/2 cup of buttermilk or milk substitute with 1 tsp lemon juice added
1/4 cup of "Everything but the Bagel" seasoning

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until pulled together to a dough. If it's too dry and crumbly add a dash of liquid. If it's too wet add a dash of flour.
Dump dough out on a floured surface and pat out to approx. an 1 1/2 thick. Using your biscuit cutter (or a soup can) cut out as many biscuits as you can. Take the excess dough and re-form to continue to make more biscuits.
